What we treat
When your child is a late talker
A late talker understands what you say but uses few words. Parents often count the words, because the count is the clearest measure they have.
Counting words helps
Write down every word your child uses on their own. The list tells a therapist more than any description, and it shows change over weeks.
Understanding comes first
If your child follows instructions but says little, that is a different picture from a child who does neither. We check both.
We start where your child starts
We build from the words your child already has, not from a fixed list.
