What we treat
When speech is hard to understand
Some children talk a lot, and strangers still cannot understand them. This is an articulation difficulty, and it is separate from a delay in words.
We measure how much a stranger understands
That number, not the family's guess, tells us where to start. Families learn to read their own child.
Sounds arrive in an order
Some sounds are expected late. We target the ones that are late for your child's age.
School matters
Unclear speech affects reading and friendships. We work on the sounds that carry the most weight at school.
