Speech therapists treat eating and swallowing as well as speech. The same muscles do both jobs.
Mealtimes belong at home
A feeding session in a clinic is an artificial meal. At your table we see the real one.
We watch a whole meal
How your child sits, how food is offered and how long the meal lasts all matter.
Tell your doctor too
If your child coughs or chokes on liquids, speak to a doctor as well. Do not wait for therapy alone.
